Presentation


The art in this game was drawn by me digitally. A main design feature is to have the outlines be a darker colour of what they are surrounding. The levels are designed to used darker colours while the player and enemies are easier to see.  The colour red is used on the grubs and thorns as to tell the player not to touch them while the glow flies and mushrooms are safe to touch.  The wind is shown in a light blue colour also to be easily seen by the player.

The later images are placeholders of different menus and a storyboard of how the game starts. The planned idea for the menus screens is to have a them carved onto a wooden background.

The common theme of the levels is that they took place in a forest at night. Having glowing mushrooms and glow flies helped in both categories. Whenever the sky is shown it displays a starry night.

The frogs animations shows where it is facing by its red tie and the direction of its leap is shown by the direction of its umbrella. The toad is planned to  change from an angry expression to a happy one once the flies are collected. The grub shortens and elongates to show it crawling.
